- Changeover day is usually Friday.
- Arrival time 4pm, departure time 11 am.
- Short breaks from 2 days available (not in peak season), see availability.
- Discount for longer stays of 3 weeks to 6 months.
- Payment can be by cheque, BACS or PayPal.
- Well behaved owners and their dogs are welcome! Please keep dogs downstairs and off the furniture (stairgates available). There are plenty of good walks from the cottage. £10 supplement per dog.
- Off road parking for one car, within courtyard. Extra parking on road always available.
- Central heating is included in the price from 1st Oct til 1st May. If guests want the heating on at other times we reserve the right to charge £2 a day.
- The back of the cottage overlooks the owner’s private garden to which guests don’t have access, but guests do have a separate patio garden with a small lawn, water feature & garden furniture etc. It is in a sheltered sunspot within the walled courtyard. Please note it is not fully enclosed.
- Children and babies are very welcome (we have 3 older children ourselves). We provide a box of toys, children’s books, some games and DVDs which we try to make appropriate for your child/s age and gender. a bigger stock of toys games and DVDs which guests can borrow. Our older daughter (17) is happy to babysit if you’d like a night out: she is a brownie leader and CRB checked.
- Baby equipment includes a modern travel cot with a proper Mothercare cot mattress, baby duvet and bedding. There is space for the cot either in the master or second bedroom. A baby bath, (fits in shower), step stool, and stairgates( top and bottom) a highchair, with harness and a food blender.
- Extra equipment not mentioned elsewhere includes an iron and ironing board, hairdryer, clock radio alarm, toaster, kettle, microwave and vacuum cleaner.
- Internet connection is available.
- The spiral staircase is wrought iron with wooden treads. For more information please see the Access statement.
- Smoking is not permitted in the holiday cottage, only permitted outside on patio.
- The village has a busy shop / post office which sells delicious local fresh bread, salads and other provisions. 2 supermarkets within 10 minutes drive.
- The village pub is easy to walk to and serves good food. We can recommend excellent pubs within a few miles (including dog friendly pubs).
- You can expect to find the property as advertised. It is thoroughly cleaned, well maintained and equipped. To welcome you a refreshment tray and fresh flowers are provided, with a folder full of information and ideas for your enjoyment. If you have any further questions or requirements please contact us.
